Black screen with flickering taskbar?

After starting up a game on my laptop with a vizio tv as my moniter 2 days ago immediately I got a black screen with part of the taskbar flickering and every time I turn on my laptop it goes straght back to the black screen with flickering taskbar. no windows logo or login I'm clueless.. any ideas on how to fix the connection from laptop to tv monitor?

I bought and tried a new hdmi.. Nada

Tried switching HDMI ports no results

Laptop works fine when unplugged from tv.

Tv works fine when not connected.

Updated graphics driver.. Nothing

I have a Lenovo y510p ideapad with GT 750M Sli and windows 7.

Have you tried updating the drivers? They can be pretty shoddy on older m-series GPUs, and SLI I'm sure only complicates things.

Edit: retarded, didn't read post. Try downgrading the drivers to an older version.

What Vizio model do you have?

Sounds like resolution/frequency incompatibility.
