Blue and red vertical lines on plasma tv screen

Hello, Panasonic plasma 42 inch a couple of years old (out of guarantee!). This problem is persistent, on all channels incluidng HDMI. has anyone else had this and if so what is the solution please/

Please note - should read 'Green and red' NOT 'Blue and red'.
