how come when i put a CD with music it says on the blue ray box no disc

well ... depends .. there are some models and brands that they make very very specific at the manual that there are some disc that wont play

for example I can play somethings on my bluray disc player but some others I can not but a way cheaper DVD player will play them, check the manual of your unit it will say almost most of the times on the cover
