BLuray playback on a PC - help

Hello,
I have samsung bd rom drive and am running windows 7. I am connected to a Samsung LCD TV. My PS3 plays bluray discs fine on this PC. When I connect my PC to it it wont plays any blurat discs. The cyberlink advisors says I have a digital connection (without hdcp). I thought all LCD tvs with HDMI were hdcp compliant.

Windows 7, by itself, does not contain the codecs necessary for Blu-Ray playback. Since you didn't mention it, I'm assuming this is the problem. You need to purchase software like Corel's WinDVD 2010 or Cyberlink's PowerDVD to play Blu-Ray disks.

Take a look at Media Player Classic - Home Cinema which supports Blu-Ray. It is freeware.

I use it to watch XviD, DivX and MKV video that I encode. I don't have Blu-Ray so I cannot say how well it handles Blu-Ray. Since it is free why not find out for yourself?
