Brand new laptop is slow and has 100% disk [usage] in task manager

So I purchased a new laptop 1 day ago and when I finished the windows update and it started glitching a lot so I checked Task Manager and the disk column was at 100%, at this point i only had Google chrome and the programs from Acer and it takes 3-4 mins to boot to windows and when you open a application it takes longer then usual

Intel Core i3-7100U Processor
4GB DDR4 Memory 2133Mhz
1TB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive
Windows 10 Home

That sounds like what happens on all my devices with 5400 rpm boot drives, under the disk it is likely windows telemetry that has your disk at full usage (or some other similar windows process, such as updates or system or whatnot) turning telemetry off helps, but I haven't found a proper solution. It also appears that paging file might be being hit pretty hard at this point as well. Upgrading the RAM (with the lovely(terrible) prices as they are) might help, but I don't think there is too much that you can do other than minimize the amount of background processes.

i think i got the same problem here. after i end task some of the program running in background its become lighter. but do you know how to change the setting so the program wont keep running automatically( such as update, malware security, cortana, and so on)
