Hello,
After doing tons of research, I placed an order for this computer last night. Now I'm concerned it it won't hold up to my expectations. Can any pro out there tell me if these specs will hold up for my needs, which ar primarily t-shirt and advertising design. No video editing. Also, should I have upgraded to higher res screen? Initially I figured I'd get a moniter down the road...but now I'm second guessing myself. Any input would be highly appreciated. I still have a small window left to make any changes. Paid about $1100 before tax.

I have an unopened student edition of cs5.5 I planned to use, but thinking about selling. I'm using cs6 trial for illustrator on my current laptop and loving it.

That system is more than powerful for what you intend to do. I personally would not have upgraded the HDD and used that money toward the fullHD display as you can get external's for data storage for cheaper than paying someone like HP for more HDD space, but it's harder to get more screen real estate without lugging an external monitor with you. But that's just personal opionion. This computer will perform well for you.
