Okay. Search up game debate and search up the game and see if the requirements fit. If it's a new game, pcs usually cost up to $2000 that can run new games. If you are looking for good performance I would suggest something like MetaBox. Otherwise, try the cheapest computers good brands make. Hmm.. I've searched it up and the good news is that it can run Obduction at a medium level. :)
 
Looking at the system requirements for the game a GTX 960m should be fine.

Between the two laptops from the link, the only ones that are within your budget are the Dell and the Acer Aspire. I would go with the Dell because the Acer has terrible battery life. If the laptop always stay home and plugged in, then battery life is not very important.
