C55 LAPTOP - light showing power adapter is on not lighting up anymore all of a sudden. Have checked power connections and they outlet is active and powers other things. Anything to try before bringing it to shop? Thanks for any help

If the power light on the adapter doesn't come on when you plug it into the wall, best guess is that the adapter has gone bad. Do you own a voltmeter?
