First, I want to point out I don't even have a phone right now, as I don't think it justifies the cost and I don't even like to talk to most people, aside from one and maybe sometimes two.
However, there's an 8" 4G LTE tablet set to release soon, which I was considering getting anyway for other reasons. So, if I got a relatively small amount of 4G service, could that functionally replace a phone for my limited use? Keep in mind, I'm not the kind of person who checks a phone on a bus or in stores or whatnot, so the size isn't really a factor.
