I have a laptop (Razer Blade 2016) which has a Thunderbolt 3 port. I think the Thunderbolt port supports video in as it can be used to connect an external GPU while using the laptop monitor. Is there any way to connect my PS4 to my laptop using an HDMI to Thunderbolt adapter. I would like to use my laptop monitor as a screen for my PS4.

PS my laptop has an HDMI port, but it only supports video out.

Solution
The GPU docks do not send data back to the laptop display as a video signal. Its all very complex how it works but tl;drs down to: no. The laptop cannot accept external video from thunderbolt
