Can i connect two headphone splitters to get more people to hear from my device?

I am needing to know ASAP if I can purchase two headphone splitters, then plug them into each other and then into my boom box to get 10-12 listeners at once?

You would need an active headphone amp to connect 10-12 listeners at once. Using splitters you could maybe go to 4 headphones.
