Can I Convert Easy Fit To RCA

I have a philips DVD home theater system HTS3544/37. As I of last week it wont power up. Since its not something I feel I can fix, I am wondering if I can change some of the square Easy Fit speaker connectors to RCA to go into the back of my tv?

Hello there.

Sorry, but you cannot use RCA outputs as aspeaker signal. RCA outputs use a very low voltage, and connecting them directly to speakers will either give you no sound at all, or even break your TV. They are simply not the same thing.

You will need a new home theater system, or a separate amplifier if you want to keep your Easy Fit speakers.

So theres no possibility of being able to cut off the Easy Fit and buy new Rca plugs to wire to the speakers? That sucks

Sadly, there isn't. Speakers are meant to be connected to an amplifier/home theater. Anything else will not work.
