What is "av 3"? Are you talking RCA connections (yellow, red, white)?

If so, you need a converter because you're going from a digital signal to an analog signal. No way around it.

Digital to analog requires a converter.
HDMI does not carry an analog signal.
if by av 3 you mean the yellow/red/white cable? then no. again analog to digital needs a converter

However u maybe able to mirror your laptop screen to the TV via LAN, consult ur TV's manual.
