My Xbox360 is already connected to my TV but i was wondering if i plug my hdmi cord into my xbox from my laptop can i like watch movies or see my computer screen on my Tv as if its plugged in str8 into my tv

No, you can't. HDMI ports on laptops and the Xbox are for output ONLY.

So what you're planning isn't going to work. So while you can output from the laptop, the Xbox can't receive anything.

Why don't you just plug the laptop via HDMI directly to the TV.
