Can i remove key of an installed program?

Hello everybody.
i hope there is someone with knowledge to help me to sort this issue out.
i have installed a program and i used keycracker. but now i want to remove or delete the serial number to licence it.
i have uninstalled and removed everything from regedit but when ever i re install it the previous serial number appear on the program.

I have but they tell me to format (reinstall the windows) the pc which is not good idea for me because i dont want to reinstall the windows.

Have you deleted all files of that program?? Try to search for some left over files and delete them.
