Can I run Cities: Skylines in Intel HD Graphics 620 with 128 MB of Video RAM

I have a laptop with Intel HD Graphics 620 and 128 MB of Video RAM, and I wan't to know if I can run Cities: Skylines with 8 GB of RAM?
And another question, are my graphics shared?

Yes, your integrated graphics device shares memory with your system. According to the systems requirements for the game (see below), use of Intel integrated graphics devices is not supported:

The game will run, but not well.

The following video demos the game on a laptop with a 5th gen Core i3-5010u and Intel HD 5500 with 2 sticks of 4GB of RAM (8GB total). It runs, but with low FPS.

The good news is that the Intel HD 620 in 7th gen Intel CPUs is a bit more powerful than the Intel HD 5500, but it is still weak compared to a dedicated GPU. It is less powerful than a nVidia 920m. You should see a little better performance than in the above video. If your laptop only has one stick of RAM, then I recommend you install a second stick of either 4GB or 8GB RAM. Integrated graphics can provide around 10% - 15% better performance in games when there are two sticks of RAM installed.


Below is Cities Skyline running on a older 3rd gen Core i5-3317U with the Intel HD 4000 that is definitely not as good as the Intel HD 620. The Youtuber is using two mods (see links in the description) to improve game performance which you can also use with the Intel HD 620.
