Can I update HTC One X to Android 4.4.3?

I would also like it to be a stock Android OS, just like the Nexus devices, I hate the HTC Sense UI. A friend of mine has told me that it would cause problems, is that right?

I am currently using 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

For some reason I can't edit my last post...

Anyway this process is called 'rooting' your phone. It will also involve flashing a new ROM which is like a new OS for the phone. It won't cause problems if done right but the process is fairly complex, however if you follow the steps in a guide like THIS properly it should be fine.
