Can i use a SPRINT SAMSUNG S6 in Zambia, africa

I am considering buying a network locked SPRINT samsung s6 off e-bay to use in my home country Zambia, Africa. Will i be able to use the network locked phone with my carrier simcard AIRTEL?

I doubt an Airtel SIM will work anywhere ooutside the Indian sub-Continent. If you buy a local Zambian SIm the device will work but not with your regular phone number.
