Not sure if the right place to ask but here l go. Bought a house and want to set up a system where from a tablet l can have Bluetooth speakers in various rooms and even outside and from my stereo pic where it plays. Is that possible and how? Not my area so need help please
Bluetooth isn't really set up to create the kind of system you want to do.
The way to do it is to use speakers from Sonos, Denon, or BluOS. They operate via WiFi and tablets and phones are used to control each zone not just to stream to the speakers. The speakers do the streaming. Speakers can be used in mono or stereo. They also make streamers that can connect to any existing audio system and a powered streamer that you can connect the speakers of your choice. You can use in wall speakers to create a neat look.
If you go with the Denon Heos system you can also use Denon or Marantz receivers for better sound and home theater. Heos streaming is built in.
If you use wired speakers you will still need an amplifier. If you used a two channel amp you will need at least an impedance matching speaker selector. If you wanted to control volume in for each room you would need a volume control for each room. Some of these have impedance matching so you don't need the selector if you get these.
If you wanted to play different sources in each room you would need a multi-zone amplifier and a way to control each zone.
You would also need at least one box to access internet radio, streaming services and files.
Overall it isn't necessarily cheaper than the stand alone speakers but can sound better and play louder.
Using stand alone speakers you can do one room at a time without having to buy a central controller/amp/controls which isn't cheap.
