Well it built into a toshiba sattelite and from what i have seen
you can rewrite DVD/CD i believe but not Blu-ray however that is not 99% accurate.
and its not 100% either =p

If you google Matshita UJ841S there are pages of references, and no one mentions Bluray.

Ask Toshiba.
