can my wqhd monitor play 3D?

can my wqhd monitor can play 3D movies and games, my pc spec: i7 4770k procesor, gtx 780 dc2(it does support 3D), 16gb ram, it should pull 3D movies no problem, i have 3d movie downloaded, tryed playing thru KMplayer, but no good, do i need some sort of program for my monitor?

If you're using passive HD you'll need a monitor that has a 120Hz refresh rate. If you don't know what your refresh rate is chances are that you're using a 60Hz monitor.

yes it is 60hz monitor its made by yamakasi, is there way to get 3D out of it? i have zero experience with 3D so don't know anything about passive one
