Can websites see your MAC address?

Hello all. Do websites track my device's mac address? I know they track my ip address and location. Is there anything else that they track?

No they can't, not sure if their is some sort of law but no. "If its just a random website and not on a LAN ofcourse"

Well your MAC address really is only used for a local area network, not a WAN which is a wide area network like the internet.

Sites will not have access to your MAC address

the mac is of interest because it serves as an identifying serial number.

the op is wanting to figure out how do websites manage to identify us even when we use vpn's, etc.
