Can you rebuild an HP dv9720?

Hello,I have a HP dv9720 laptop that the motherboard has died. These laptops has a history of motherboards and graphics chips heating up and dying and HP will not fix these issues unless you pay them $400 to replace with the same motherboard that has the same problems as before.(I don't buy HP anymore) My question is, . . Is there a motherboard or other components that will work in this laptop? I don't care if I have to replace everything in it. Is everything HP related and I can't rebuild it? everything else was in great shape until the motherboard letting go.

You can rebuild it, but with a laptop, it can be a tedious task. Never the less, check out the link below to see if you can find a compatible/replacement motherboard.
