Cannot unlock SD Card

My camera started telling me that my card is write protected. Every time I take it out and flip the switch, when I put the card back in something inside the camera is pushing it back to lock. I insert it unlocked, its ejects locked. I have NO idea how to fix this.

well I know this method might sound unorthodox but maybe the locking mechanism on the card is loose so what you can try is tape it and see if it holds in place. Try masking tape since it is thinner.

Or get a new SD card. They have come way down in price over the last few years.
