Canon gives busy message

When I try and take a pic with my Canon Rebel T1i I get a busy message and it won't take the pic. Seems like it won't focus? Any help would be much appreciated.

Well, its probably a flash that needs time to charge up again before u can take another picture. When the flash is charged up, the 'busy' will stop.

Check your setting for flash. And close the flash when u will not use it. It charges every time.
Also the settings, u don't need to shoot at full power at f16, use the tripod : )
