Canon Rebel SL1 video stuck

Hi all, I was shooting a video on my Canon Rebel SL1 with SDXC 64GB SanDisk memory and after hitting rec button again to save shooting the camera got stuck on last moment....turning on/off the camera didn't worked so i removed the battery...the camera turned on after inserting battery back but the last video is corrupted, I copied the last file which has a format of DAT....my question is how can i fix my camera and how can i convert or recover this video because it is very important one

It sounds to me like the video was not created properly to start with so you can't recover it.
You can't recover what wasn't recorded.

I wouldn't trust that SD card any more either - - replace it.

you think it is a SD card problem? I made couple of pictures today and Jpeg ones are corrupted but camera shows RAW images, however when i copy them to pc it is also corrupted

It sure sounds like it could be an SD card problem. Have you tried another SD to see if the problem is the SD card or the camera?

I dont have one, but i completely dormatted it inserted into the camera and formated again, yet no problems

I take it then that you have no corrupted files since reformatting the card. I hope that is true and your problem has been solved.
