About 6 months ago I bought the Gen 2 Astro a40s for Xbox One, and recently bought a new PC. However, I'm unable to use the A40 mic with it. I thought at first that this was due to me only having a 3.5mm headphone jack plugged in, as the Gen 2 for Xbox only comes with the weird Xbox mixamp and an audio cable. However, I've since bought a PC Splitter (or Y splitter) and plugged it in correctly, and my mic is still not being found under the 'Playback Devices' sound options. I've previously used them on Mac and they've worked just fine, but obviously there's some kind of problem here. I'm fairly new to the PC thing so please be nice (haha), this has just confused me as I cant use the mic for Skype/Curse to talk to my friends and family. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm on Windows 10.
