Cant install zone alarm

Hi guys, I would like to give zone alarm a try but I can not get it to install, the online installer gets stuck at preparing to install and the offline installer gets stuck at 64%, I'm on windows 8.1 with avg as a antivirus, windows firewall is disabled and IE 11 aswell, any ideas?

Got it working by updating windows
