A tablespoon of water was spilt on the keyboard at night. I let it dry upside down overnight, in the morning I got the battery out and let it sit for several hours more.
The keyboard only functions partially, so I plugged a USB one. It gives a wrong user or password message. I tried the safe mode -- no changes.
Windows 7 Home. HP Compaq 61.

If you remove the keyboard, you can scatter some raw rice to suck up any remaining liquid. Unfortunately the smallest ric grain is too big to get in between keys.

Solved after doing reboot and error check ups several times (and changing languages). The inbuilt keyboard doesn't function properly anyway.

Saga Lout, removing keyboard isn't an option for me; I got no idea how to deal with the laptops and the last thing I want is to make things even worse. So, tomorrow to a repair shop.
