Cant remove optical disk drive from dell i14 5458-b40

I can't remove my optical disk drive from my Dell I14 5458-b40. I have removed the screw that keeps it in place but it simply wont go out. What should I do?

Are you using a thin tool to slide out the drive?

Yes, I try to slide it out but it doesn't moves an inch, I even insert a good ammount of force to move it but nothing happens.

Are you sure you took out the right screw?

Can you take a picture of the bottom of your laptop so I can get a better idea of what you're dealing with.

I tried to do what the manual says but it simply wont move, I even removed one extra screw but nothing changed.

When you insert a tool into the slot labeled "Remove ODD" are you inserting it into the black area or the silver area and pushing?

I'm inserting at the black area and pushing to the left side, but the optical disk drive simply won't move no matter what.

I'm out of ideas.

I'm betting it's something simple though.

My only other thought is to remove the bottom casing to see what's causing the drive to be stuck.
