Cant Restore ASUS Laptop To Factory Settings

ive tried to press f8 and f9 on startup but i have 2 operating systems on my computer and every time i start the computer, it makes me choose either windows 7 or 8. Is that why i cant press f8 or f9 to restore???■ ■ ■

What if you format the partition that has the non original operating system on it using disk management.

Well both are on the same partition but I can't find where windows 8 is

F8 is for Windows start up options, not to restore. If F9 does not work, you may have deleted the restore partition.

Contact ASUS to get a set of recovery disks.

You may have a tool on the PC from the vendor that allows you to create the restore disks. You have to have separate partitians to dual boot Windows 7 and Windows 8.
