Can't see cable via hdml on Samsung TV

I just moved and have a new cable company. When I try to connect my Samsung TV via HDML to cable box I get nothing. I have two HDML slots on back of TV. The other is used for Roku and works just fine. I've changed HDML cords and traded cable boxes trying to figure this out. Help.

Try the other HDMI port. If that does not work, contact the cable company to find out why their box is not working or how to change the output options in it.
