Can't unlock Numlk

While I was downloading a program I stepped away, my cat stepped all over my keypad. Now I can only type letters on right of keypad if I also press down Fn key. Tried F11 Numlk without success. How do I get the numbers keys to unlock?

I think you're in the wrong forum section for this. Also, I'm not sure I understand the actual question here. Numlock doesn't affect the lettering part of the keyboard, just the keypad itself. Could you explain it a little better for me?
