Cassette to MP3 ???

Does anyone know of a website that gives instructions on how this is done or possibly a bit all the knowing themselves on how to transfer a song from Cassette to MP3 ?

If you ask yourself why I'm asking ? .......... It's because most listeners of older music understand quality music & that this is hard to come by these days even in the form of an MP3 !

It's kinda easy, I have done it previously a pair of times. You got to plug a cable from the cassette player line out into the computer's line in, find a program which allows you to record from the line in, then record the entire cassette onto the hard drive in wave format, cut each of the separate songs and save them apart, then apply sound filters to remove noise and so on and compress the wav to mp3.

Also, if you have some extra cash to spend there are USB Tape to PC converters out there.

I have about 50 old music cassettes sitting around that are on the verge of decay, so I'm thinking about picking one of these up soon. Anyone have any pros or cons?
