Casting video from pc to tv fails to show subtitles

Hi,
I'm trying to cast video from my win10 pc to my samsung tv.
Win10 offers a "Cast" option, which to a point' works. Still, I can watch the video, but if it includes subtitles, these additions fail to show. (However' on the pc' both the video and its subtitles show up.
How can I configure win10 to include subtitles while casting to my network connected tv?

Yeah can't help you with this but just dropping a line to say I've run into same issue so it's nothing specific to your installation. There was a complicated set of instructions on how to do this with vlc since built in system for whatever reason wasn't working correctly but I still never got that to work either. Only hardcoded subtitles would ever show up.
