When I first installed Catalyst Control Center, it worked fine. However, due to various circumstances, I had to use system restore a bunch of times. Afterward, I reinstalled CCC, but I get the usual Microsoft message when I open it: Catalyst Control Center: "Monitoring program has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." when I click for more info, it just says the following:

EventType : clr20r3 P1 : mom.exe P2 : 2.0.0.0 P3 : 49ef8e68
P4 : mom P5 : 2.0.0.0 P6 : 49ef8e68 P7 : 2 P8 : 2
P9 : system.typeloadexception

Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Try uninstalling CCC (just CCC, no need to do the drivers) and then run a registry cleaner like CCleaner. Then try reinstalling CCC. I nothing else (like .net) is messed up, that should give you a completely reinstalled CCC.
