Hello there
i have an "hp pavilion g6 notebook"-"windows 10"
I changed the bios mode from legacy to uefi so i can enable the virtualization feature and the consequence was a black screen saying :
"boot device not found
Please install an operating system on your hard
disk
Hard disk (3F0)"
Is there a solution to enable uefi mode without loosing os boot?

ok,I am here to help, had a similar situation
1.You should be able to enable virtualization on legacy too(I could)
2.Your hdd must be in mbr mode, and uefi requires gpt
Don't worry, you can convert without data loss(or barely)
Make a windows PE bootable usb drive/cd/dvd(you can install on a 4gb or even a 2gb usb drive)
Then you boot from it
And there will be a cmd
You should do these commands
mbr2gpt /validate
if everything works with no errors, you are ready for next step
mbr2gpt /convert
wait patientelly until it's done, should take a few mins at most
And when it's done, either remove the usb drive/cd/dvd either switch boot order in bios and you are ready to go
Hope I helped
