Charging in very long hours and battery exhausts very soon

Hi,

I have Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, Model SM-T211 with Android version 4.4.2, Kernel Version 3.4.5-4496770.

I had issue with my tab was it used to take long hours to get battery charged and used to exhaust the battery within 2-3 hours. It used to turn off when the battery was 40-50% or sometimes at 60% too. I have changed the battery but it still is taking very long hours to get battery charged full. Last time I started charging at 1600hrs and it charged completely at 0900hrs in the next morning (about 25 hours). Please help me to resolve this problem. Thanks a lot for your help.

Have you tried using a new/different charging cable or adapter? These kinds of problems are usually either caused by the battery or the charger.

It sounds like the battery has developed memory. That happenes when you charge it without running it all the way dead. You need to run it all the way dead before you charge it
