Hey guys,

I have an ASUS Q200E laptop and the power specs for the power adapter that came with it are:

Input :
100-240 V AC, 50/60 Hz, 0.8A

Output :
19 V DC, 1.75 A, 33W

The battery specs are:

2Cells 5136 mAh 38 Whrs Polymer Battery

I want to get myself an outlet adapter for the car that I can plug this laptop into my car using the adapter it came with and charge it between classes in college. I've been looking at this one:

http://www.bestekltd.com/Product_v51.html

The specs on it are:

Input:
12 V DC

Output:
110 V AC, 50/60 Hz, 75W

It doesn't list Amp specs on the car adapter, but I don't think it'll matter that much, since too high of a difference in Volts can damage the laptop, not Amps, right?

Will this adapter work fine? Any other suggestions?

Solution
Yes this car adapter will do. Your power adapter needs 88W max. and the car adapter delivers 100W max., and if is for just charging the battery, the car adapter will work fine.
