Hey,

Im looking to upgrade my old PC into a cheap VR gaming pc (yeah I know, cheap and VR done always go together well).

Currently my CPU is an i3 550 and my graphics card is an AMD Radeon HD 7800 series card (2gb).

I dont want to spend too much, as my new job I'm starting soon doesnt have the best salary.

What would you all recommend as being the cheapest and best way to upgrade this system to it can run, for example, Beat Saber comfortably. (For either a Vive or an Oculus).

Thanks in advance!

LGA 1156? I would upgrade that cpu to xeon x3470 on eBay currently around $40 overclock it add ram, and get a used 1070. Should be around $300 US total.

I'm not entirely sure of what exactly I want my budget to be, but around £500 or so seems about right in my mind.
