Solved! Checking media failure

Every time I start my satellite,it immediately (after the initial start up screen) says; checking media , fail 3 times , then no bootable devices-- please restart system. It also happens with any other hard drive, OS boot disc ,bootable USB and external sata device I try installing a new system with
