Hey there ,

I am in a bit of a pickle. I have to select a laptop for around £500. I currently have 2 laptops in mind. These are:

I am going to buy my laptop from PC World because they have knowhow.
Please may you tell me which is the better laptop.

What i will use it for:

School Work (I use it in every lesson at school except maths)
Casual Gaming - Like Minecraft , Kerbal Space Program. Maybe BF4 on LOW/MED Settings.
Photoshop and other CS Software.
Video's and TV (I watch most things online)

Also i tend to break stuff a-lot so build quality is VERY importent too.

So which one is better laptop?
If you have any other suggestions (Must be from PCWORLD/CURRYS) please tell me?

Thank you in advance

Thanks , may i ask why do you despise HP? I have only had good things from them apart from the cooling.

Nobody told me I own a HP netbook and despite being me* it has been quite reliable at not breaking :D
* - I tend to break too much. I broke 6 PS2'S in 1 yr by complete mistake. :p

Bit upsetting with there Tech Support!
Thanks for you help!

Working is tech support for ANYTHING can give you a low opinion of quality levels, because you ONLY see the items needing repair. HP has had a drop in quality over the last decade (their stuff from the 00s was pretty good) but yes, the A10 is a better CPU than the A8. And yes, the A10 can run BF4 at medium settings at the 1366x768 screen you will have.
