Hi guys! I created a thread this morning but no one replied... Probably It was boring, so I will make it easier.

I am looking for a laptop and I found 3 interesting laptops for my budget (650$).

All of them have i5 processor 3rd gen and 15.6 screen .

The first is an asus with lower processor frequency (1.7GHz - 2.6 GHz) and nvidia gt 740m, glossy screen

The second is a lenovo, 2.6ghz - 3.2ghz and nvidia gt 740m, matte screen

The third is an acer aspire v3
, 2.5-3.1ghz, with gt 640m and full hd 1080p matte screen

Which should I get? The acer because of its full hd screen, or the lenovo /asus because their better video card?

I know that the acer with his resolution can't handle with high details a high-end game, and I heard that not playing on the native resolution, the game won't look as good as it should, but a movie, for exemple, will look better on a 1080p screen.
So I'm in a big dilemma.

I really need replies from you guys!

Here are the gaming benchmarks between GT 640m and GT 740m : http://www.notebookcheck.net/Computer-Games-on-Laptop-Graphic-Cards.13849.0.html?type=&sort=&deskornote=0&or=0&search=&month=&benchmark_values=&gpubenchmarks=0&professional=0&archive=1&dx=0&multiplegpus=0&showClassDescription=0&itemselect_4059=4059&itemselect_2961=2961&condensed=0&showCount=0&showBars=0&gameselect%5B%5D=220&gameselect%5B%5D=217&gameselect%5B%5D=214&gameselect%5B%5D=212&gameselect%5B%5D=210&gameselect%5B%5D=208&gameselect%5B%5D=204&gameselect%5B%5D=202&gameselect%5B%5D=193&gameselect%5B%5D=191&gameselect%5B%5D=188&gameselect%5B%5D=186&gameselect%5B%5D=176&gameselect%5B%5D=170&gameselect%5B%5D=168&gameselect%5B%5D=166&gameselect%5B%5D=162&gameselect%5B%5D=160&gameselect%5B%5D=142&gameselect%5B%5D=110&gameselect%5B%5D=112&gameselect%5B%5D=105&gameselect%5B%5D=52&gameselect%5B%5D=49&gpu_fullname=1&codename=0&architecture=0&pixelshaders=0&vertexshaders=0&corespeed=0&shaderspeed=0&memoryspeed=0&memorybus=0&directx=0&technology=0&daysold=0

As you Can see, some times the GT640m wins and sometimes the GT740 wins. Maybe with new Drivers the New GT740m will perform on par, but as i told you already the GT 740m its just a rebadged GT 640m. About the Screen, i will always choose the 1080p screen over a low resolution size. Why? because i not only game, I browse the web alot and watch movies in it. But if you really are only going to Game then Going with a Lower Resolution Screen Will look better. When you put a 240p video on youtube and you put full screen it distorts the image, thats the samething it will happen while you go and play games if your native resolution is 1080p.

Thanks for your reply! I think I will go for the 1080p acer, because I will mostly play multiplayer games with my friends, and they aren't very high requirements games. For single player I have a modded Xbox 360, so I can play whatever game I want. I want to watch high quality movies, so the 1080p screen is perfect.
