Hello,

I require a new battery for my Acer Aspire One ZG5 netbook. I have never needed to change a laptop/netbook battery before so I am completely new to this!

When looking at the existing battery, the specs are as follows:
Battery: UM08A73 Li-ion
11.1V
2200mAh/23Wh

I have found an apparent compatible replacement battery on the following link:
http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/19505...tml?_$ja=tsid:11518|cat:19505138|prd:19505138

Although the battery type and voltage match, the mAh is greater (4400mAh). Is it important that I find a battery matching the original 2200mAh or can I get one with a higher mAh? I have also seen other batteries with 7200mAh so am a little confused.

Some other apparent replacements for the UM08A73 also have different voltages. Is it important for the voltage to match too or can it be greater / less or both?

Thank you in advance.

Voltages should be the same. The battery you linked is compatible. 4400mAh is the battery's capacity. In other words, you should see a longer battery life when using the laptop then with the old battery.
