Hello,
Is there a class action filed against hp for the TX 1420us?

The laptop burned out within 8 months of me getting it and hp wanted me to pay to replace the motherboard.

More than 250,000+ people have complained about the same identical problem as my situation.

Hp doesn't stand behind their product.

Had the same issue a year ago or so with a tx model. HP knows about it, trust me, they do. But I don't think they'll do anything about it. I'm sure if you look hard enough, you'll find a class action suit against them, but I don't know if you'll get anything substantial from it. Your best bet is to never buy HP again.
