Compaq armada m300 baterry and AC

I know htat it´s old bur i´m using it! I have a m300 but my problem is: i connect the charger but the battery don´t charge and it fails when i´m trying to calibrate it. and the indicator signal is only on AC and the battery cannot charge. Windows can´t seek for the trouble. If somebody can help me, please! THANKS!

Your battery is probably just dead. It happens over time.
