Comparing between Dell Xps and HP dv6 with sandy bridge

Hi guys,

I want to buy a laptop for my development and gaming needs.I am consfused between two laptops.

Dell XPS 15
intel i7 2630QM
6 GB RAM
2GB nvidia geforce 540M
600GB HDD


HP dv6 6070
intel i7 2630QM
4 GB RAM
1GB ATI Radeon 6770M
500GB HDD

Dell is a bit costlier than HP

Please give your valuable opinion about both models.
What are the pros and cons of these models?
Which one is the best when considering overall multimedia and gaming performance?

Well I don't recommend either Dell or HP. Check out what Sony, Toshiba or ASUS has to offer. If you really want to go with one of the above the Dell seems to be the one to go for. More RAM bigger HDD and more GPU memory.

I am also looking for a laptop, can you tell me what's the issue with Dell, or HP and how sony, Toshiba, Asus are better ?
