Recently ive been having issues with my computer. When my pc falls a sleep there is a good chance that I have to restart it multiple times in order for it to work correctly again. The problem is, when the computer sleeps or is turned on after a period of time, it doesn't seem to recognize the monitor or not be turning on at all. No the issue isn't the monitor, because then it would never turn on. Any ideas?

Solution
personally, I have seen myriad complaints with sleep mode, so I never use it.
a more reliable option for me is hibernate. the difference is that hibernate
writes a file to your hard drive which Is a snapshot of your system state, and
sets a flag in your master boot record which boots from that file. this Is a
boot from exactly where you were when you left, but the time has changed.

you can set your power button to hibernate, you can put hibernate on your
windows start button, you can also lock your keyboard (win+L) when you
leave your computer. all of these are other options.

try some of these options and post back. cheers
