MY LG VOLT IS NOT RECOGNIZED BY MY COMPUTER IT TELLS ME TO INSTALL SOFTWARE BUT PHONE DIDN'T COME WITH ANY

Unless the phone is designed to connect to the PC, even if you have a USB cable it's no go.

But if all that's lacking is software, have a look at the LG site for your country -- if the software exists it exists it may be downloadable.

Have to say LG web support is patchy -- and their phones aren't too great (particularly poor battery life on a basic model) from my experience.
