I'd like the audio from my XBox One to pass through my Asus VH242H monitor and into my Bose Companion 2 Desktop speakers. Here's the connection breakdown: XBox One connected to VH242H via HDMI: Audio passes through monitor to SPDIF (Coaxial) out: then, it will run out to RCA (L and R speakers) input on Bose Companion 2 desktop speakers. Question 1: Will this work? Question 2: What do I need to connect the SPDIF (coaxial) out to the RCA in? Specific adapter models and links would be greatly appreciated! Thank you all for your time. :)

Correct: unfortunately the only audio out connection is SPDIF. All other connections are 'in'.

I picked up a converter (http://www.amazon.com/Orei-DA21X-Premium-Converter-Headphone/dp/B00F4ORTZ6/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1415402831&sr=8-4&keywords=digital+coax+to+rca).

And this has worked like a charm! Thanks everyone for the input! I friggin love this site. :D
